Who it’s for

You know your way around Ableton but nobody ever showed you how to mix deliberately — you’ve been guessing, and it mostly works until it doesn’t.

Or you’ve been producing for years, your tracks are finished, and they still fall apart the moment they leave your room.

Both are the same problem: no system. This course gives you one.

  • Where the mix starts. Choosing the right sample, tuning it to the track, and shaping it so it stays solid at any volume.

  • Getting weight and definition at the same time. How the bass and kick share the low end without either one disappearing.

  • Snares and claps. Body, snap, and how to make a layered hit sound like one sound instead of three.

  • Hats, shakers, and percussion. Placing them so they carry rhythm without taking over the top end.

  • Bussing the mix into sections and processing them as one. The fastest way to make separate parts feel like a record.

  • Fitting pads, stabs, and leads around what’s already there — and the frequency decisions that make room without thinning anything.

  • Getting a vocal to sit in an electronic track: level, tone, and the amount of processing that’s actually needed.

  • Reverbs, delays, and sends as part of the arrangement, then taking the finished mix through a master — what’s happening at that stage and what you should hand over if someone else is doing it.
